Welcome! I am a fourth year doctoral candidate in Mechanical Engineering at the Massachusettes Institute of Technology (MIT). My research area is seawater desalination, and I am currently looking at the optimization of large scale, hybrid cogeneration desalination and power plants. I am a part of the Rohsenow Kendall Heat and Mass Transfer Laboratory and work in the Center for Clean Water and Clean Energy. More information about my research can be found on my research page.

I I earned my Master of Science in June, 2010, also from MIT in the same lab and research center. Prior to starting at MIT, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and had internships at Raytheon and BP.
